We never receive or store account passwords.
- Content and Engagement Data: To provide social media management services we access and store content we publish on your behalf, comments and messages on your connected accounts, and post/account performance metrics provided by each platform’s API.
2. How We Collect Information
We gather information directly from you in the following ways:
- Contact Forms: When you reach out through the contact forms on our website.
- Newsletter Sign-Ups: When you opt-in to receive marketing and promotional content.
- Calendar Submissions: When you schedule an appointment or consultation with us.
- Account Connections: When you connect your social media accounts to LeafyLink through each platform’s official authorization flow.
3. How We Use Social Account Data
We use connected-account data only for: publishing content at your direction, managing comments and inbox messages on your accounts (including automated replies you configure), and reporting performance metrics back to you. We access platform data only as needed for these purposes, consistent with each platform’s terms (including Meta’s Platform Terms, TikTok’s Developer Terms, the Google API Services User Data Policy, and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service). We do not use your account data for advertising and we do not sell personal information.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your personal information is stored securely using the latest industry-standard technology. Our CRM system ensures that all data is protected from unauthorized access or misuse through encryption and security protocols. Social account access tokens are stored encrypted and are accessible only to LeafyLink systems and authorized staff who need them to provide the services.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data indefinitely or until you request its removal. Social account access tokens are deleted promptly when you disconnect an account or end service. LeafyLink does not share your personal information with third parties for their own purposes.
